Sam is a veteran that served in the Vietnam War. He risked his own life for our country and had to leave his wife, Sarah, at home to provide for their three children. The couple got by on what they had and lived the majority of their lives within their means. However, now Sam needs help in his old age to pay for the care he needs. He heard about a special benefit that the VA offered that would pay around $2,000 per month for their care, but when he asked about it at the VA hospital they told him that he was wasting his time because “nobody ever gets approved.” This did not seem right to Sam. After all, he gave some of his best years and risked his life to serve our country. Now that same government was going to deny him the very benefit that he earned when he was most in need of help? Before risking a mistake with his application, he set up an appointment with an Accredited VA Claims Agent at the Morton Law Firm. At his consultation he learned that he currently doesn’t qualify because he has too much money. However, with some planning that the law allows, he can qualify so that he will have enough income to pay for assisted living for him and his wife. Ultimately, with the help of the Morton Law Firm, Sam and Sarah created a Patriot Trust and restructured their assets before they applied for VA Benefits. When they applied, they were approved in less than four months. Now they live at the assisted living facility, comfortable in knowing that their income together with the VA Pension benefit they receive covers all of their monthly expenses. Without this benefit they would probably have remained in their home much longer than would have been safe for them, or would have exhausted their modest savings trying to pay for sitters or assisted living. They are grateful for the assistance they received from the Morton Law Firm because they can now reside in a safe and comfortable setting and do not have to worry about going broke in the process.

My experience was unexpectedly easier than I imagined. It was very efficient with timely results. I have recommended your service to several close friends. I was that confident and pleased with my results. Unfortunately, I needed to use your help after the sudden passing of my wife in late 2013. Your help was invaluable.
Thank you for your kind assistance.
